I was out on a field. it was dark out. and then for the first time ever in my life, i see a star and was captivated by its beauty. its light shimmers and gives a sense of hope and wonder. it made me realise that i've been living in the dark all along (cause thats what stars sometimes do). naturally, i took a ladder and tried to get it or at least be closer to it. i propped the ladder. and climbed. and climbed. and climbed. but, dammit, i fell. (cause thats what heights sometimes do) a leg, maybe a rib broke.
what do i do? pause, and feel, and hark? its a long fall, putting you on a pedestal. but im climbing again. (im not going back to the dark).
