during lunar new year, my family and i were at my aunt's place for lunch on the second day. it's a tradition thing, we always go there for lunch on the second day. we're not really foodies, unless you count cantonese comfort food. but lunch there is always perfect. anyway, we were at the table and then i asked mom if we were going over to joan's godparent's house after that. i HATE going there. he's a LTC in safti mi and he has a way of interrogating than having conversations. my goodness. "hows your studies?" "what are you gonna do after army?" "got girlfriend?" "no" *awkward silence* "what do you do in your unit?" "so what are you gonna study after that?" it's all so "happy family" i could puke.. if you come from as bohemian a family as i do, you'll understand how i feel. and you'll puke too. i remarked that i prefer going to the dentist's than going over to joan's godpa's house. at the table, we came up with a list why.
1. It's a more sterile at joan's godpa's house. hahaha.
2. Dr. Lam is nicer to look at.
3. you visit both once a year, but you get clean teeth after the visit to the dentist.
4. It's less painful. At the Dentist's.
5. the dentist doesnt judge you like a report card.
6. you feel like you're in a dentist's chair at joan's godpa's house.
7. Dr Lam shows you pictures of sports cars.
